we have a tradition on sunday's. as a family we love to go to brunch and then to the phoenix art museum. today we went to the much

anticipated barrio cafe. nothing short of amazing food. i was also looking forward to seeing the artwork, murals around the property. 

fun to look at and admire. beautiful colors, amazing talent.

off to the museum, there's always a new exhibit and we love the permanent collection. going since the kids were little; we've memorized the rooms

​and find our way around quite easily. bummer some of the permanent collections were not available but we were pleasantly treated to some new pieces, 

​two of which are chagall's! they said that the artwork had been in storage...not a place for these pieces for sure.

​some of the placards are in español, as well as english, the kids had a good time reading and then comparing to see if they translated correctly.
