is located in the islands of the san juans off the coast of washington state.  we are so lucky to be able to travel here and enjoy the "jewel of the islands" as they say.  these images, along with the many before, represent what the island holds for visitors and residents. breathtaking ocean views of orcas, harbor seals, and stunning sunsets. we get to kayak out of "pirates cove" aptly named by our nieces and nephew when they were younger. we get to skip rocks on skipping rock beach, hike to many amazing cliff side views, ride bikes, run, enjoy the saturday market, play games in the orchard, and for the first time, enjoy 4th of july fireworks. in all of our opinions was the best fireworks we have seen. the island provides many diverse picturesque views, all of which are my favorite.
